It has been found that Head & Shoulders 2in1 Shampoo makes for a shiny, lasting car wash.
Quote from a user:
“Use a microfibre dish cloth because it has a nylon scrubbing mesh on one side for getting off bird droppings etc. but any microfibre cloth will do.
Wet the cloth, then squirt about half a tablespoon of H&S on it and get it nice and soapy. Then just wash the car with it. After rinsing with a hose, wipe the car dry with a microfibre towel but I’m not sure that’s necessary.
You can wash everything – the windows and mirrors, headlights and chrome, tires and wheels … The windows stayed clear though a very salty winter – we were amazed.
I haven’t tried it on the interior, but plan to. In any case, tap water and microfibre cloths (one wet, the other dry) clean interior windows much better and more easily than Windex and paper towels. Clean each window with the wet then immediately wipe with the dry. Like Windex, if the glass is too warm the water will evaporate before you can dry it and you’ll get streaks. ”
Water (with a shot of vingar or lemon juice) and microfibre cloths also clean house windows with ease. I’m also going to wash the exterior glass with H&S 2in1 to prevent water-spotting.
